Jax running

This week we have tried Jax running and towing my son on his skateboard to get him used to sledging and to tire him out a bit. Its a bit frightening as he pulls ok at high speed stopping is something else as we havent taught him that yet. He does tend to bound along more than a straight run you can see he has two feet off the ground all the time He is starting to loose his puppy fur and we are getting fur everywhere at the moment even brushing him doesnt help a lot.

Jax gets a new lead

We have got a new super duper lead for Jax which has lots of clips so it can be 5ft and adjusted down to other lengths it also will hold 190KG the clips are like padlocks and super quality. He is still howling every time a Ambulance goes past the problem being we live on the main route out of town for them so often he is howling when he is in the yard people around must think there is a wolf in the garden.

Happy Birthday Jax

Time has soon gone but Jax will be one year old this week. He is still very puppy like but he changes his behaviour weekly he pull when he sees another dog wanting to play but this week a quick no and he has stopped when you tell him so he does get better slowly. One day he takes no notice the next he works it out. Its been a bit hot for him this week so I dont know how he will go on in summer that one day a year we have it.

Jax Attacked

Jax was attacked by a GSD in the park last week he may be a puppy but in the end he showed the GSD who was boss he ended up un its back with his claws in his face chewing his neck. He is normally very friendly with other dogs and it was the first time he has defended him self and did he do a good job.

He will be 12 months old next week but he is still a baby at heart even has a dummy at times. He picks them up in the street if you dont watch him and sucks them just like a baby

Stupid Dog

Jax has a new habit when its time for a walk he dives on the settee and trys to stand on his head with his tail in  the air very often he then falls off. He is now nearly a year old time seems to have flown by since we got him as a little puppy. He is still a handful at times its like having a baby thats as big as a 15 year old. Things seem to suddenly click with him one day he wont do something then it suddenly kick in he still  lies down when he sees another dog which can be a pain sometimes but good other times.

Jax helps with carrying

Jax above caring a pipe to help or play catch me if you can. Its good for him he normally get hold of stick and things at the end instead of the middle then shakes them and hits himself

He loves being nosy standing on the wall to see whats going on and watching the cats sit in the sun. He doesnt chase cats just watches them but he was brought up with cats as a puppy

Jax 10 Months old

Jax is now 10 months old and about 90lbs. He has now taken to eating cooked liver and biscuits for dinner he seems to like that better than anything and he loves bones as well. When he comes in after his last walk at night he sits there barking for some complete dog food you have to throw for him. He was mad on bread but seems to have gone off that a bit now.He still has a hour walk  in the morning 2 hours at dinner time an our at 6 pm and last walk at 10 pm so he is all muscle with no fat on him.
